Everyone using a swimming pool can certain that they are swimming in clean water if the pool has been maintained properly with chlorine. The chlorine in the drinking water can cause stillbirths and miscarriages. Some scientists think that chlorine in the tap water could lead to colon and bladder cancer. Those with a chlorine allergy do not have to quit themselves to a life without swimming pools and water. There are substitute substances for pool protection. Those with a chlorine allergy will want to keep away from any pools that do not have this alternative purification treatment. A chlorine allergy can be a problem, but it does not have to be an impediment to a great life.
